Western Bulldogs GOAL Program Community Mentor

Western Bulldogs Community Foundation are looking for community mentors across the Western suburbs who are passionate about making a difference in the lives of young people.

Mentors will meet with young people online (every Thursday at 5pm) over the course of the 10-session program starting on September 3rd.

The benefits of being a mentor in the GOAL Program include:

  • The opportunity to be involved in a rewarding community-based program

  • Meeting a broad range of young people and inspiring them to be their best

  • Receiving professional mentoring training

The GOAL Mentoring Program provides young people from African Australian background (aged 13 to 15) with experiences that increase connection to community and culture. Through the delivery of an innovative online program, participants will improve their understanding of leadership and build local networks that will support education and employment outcomes.

To be a successful applicant you must be able to attend online mentor training at one of the two mentor training sessions in the week beginning Monday August 17th 2020 (times TBC).
