Join our Mentoring Program

We believe that mentoring can be a pathway to personal growth and employment or business opportunities. Incubate’s Mentoring Program is a tailored program designed to connect young African-Australians with professionals who have working experience in their aspirational career goals to help them become job-ready. Mentees conclude the program with a personal development plan and a mentor to support their professional development.

Our mentoring program is designed to match up mentees with professionals who are of similar professional or skills backgrounds and have working experience in the mentee’s aspirational career goals. Representation is a key component in inspiring young people to reach their full potential, so it is important for young people to engage with mentors who are of similar cultural background. The program connects young people with professionals whom they would not have interacted with in their daily lives.

Mentors will receive professional development to support them as they guide the mentee in their area of development. Mentees will also be guided on how to best utilise the mentoring opportunity to set and achieve clear goals.
